Original House

The original house was built in 1927. It was purchased by the Hands of Compassion ministry in 1985. Purchased in part because it is within walking distance of the Mayo Clinic and St. Mary’s Hospital. The house provided the homey, comfortable environment desired but had several limitations such as not being handicap accessible. This was addressed in 2006 when the new house was built.
